Confident Storymakers (Drayko)

Focus

Communicating stories with confidence through presentation, sharing, and optional publishing exploration.

Program Description

In the Celebrate phase, Drayko supports students who want to share their stories with others. Learners explore age-appropriate presentation formats and gain awareness of publishing pathways. Publishing is optional.

Goal

Prepare confident communicators for school, leadership, and future work opportunities.

What Students Do

  1. Share stories through:

    • Read-alouds with family or homeschool groups

    • Classroom or community presentations

    • Social media features on The Storymaking Hub (with parent permission)

  2. Create presentation formats such as:

    • Illustrated story pages

    • Audio readings

    • Simple video presentations

  3. Explore publishing concepts (optional):

    • Online submissions

    • Indie vs traditional publishing
